LO3 Be able to repurpose content and create a personal media profile

 Music video

-When uploading the music video to a blog or portfolio I will need to upload it as a MP4 or WMV as these will make the video smaller and more compressed, making it easier for it to be uploaded. 

-I will also screen shot specific parts of the video that show my skills as an editor, camera operator, and director. These will have to be uploaded as Jpegs so that they don't take too much space in the portfolio.

-Similarly, I can upload rushes into the portfolio that have not been edited, showing off what I was able to film and the techniques I used to film it.

-Before converting the video from a WAV to MP3 the size of the file was 32.9MB. 

-After this, the file size had changed to 10 MB which is smaller and more acceptable for the portfolio

M2: Legal and Ethical 

-For ethical I need to make sure that all explicit language in the video gets censored I also need to make sure any offensive terms get censored 

-Legally I need to make sure I have permission to use this song other wise it will be copyright so I need to show proof that I got permission from the artist and make sure that the beat used is free for profit 

we need to do this to stop our selves from getting sued.

Short film

-Similar to the music video, I will upload the final product along with the rushes and outtakes as a MP4 or WMV.  Doing this will allow me to have more room for other media and examples of my work as they would be compressed to a small amount. 

-I will screen shot examples of my use of Mise-en-scene and special effects in my work and how I edited them into the scenes.

-I will upload rushes and separate scenes into the portfolio As well which will show how I shot certain scenes and what props, costumes, and 

M2: Legal and Ethical 

-Firstly, this film will need to be censored completely as we used a heavy amount of bad and offensive language in it that could be seen as unprofessional by employers. This ethical consideration will need to take place as a the explicit language of the film could make me look unprofessional and unfit for the job I am applying for. 

-Along with this, Legally, any content or music that I have used in the film will need to be replaced as this is against copyright law.

Website

-for my website I would have to convert each screenshot I had taken into a jpeg to reduce file size and make it easier for site to load the images.

-I could record footage of me using the website and show how it works on multiple devices. I would need to export these videos and MP3 files as to make sure they are as small and compressed as possible. 

- I can upload a video showing how to use my website on different devices 

-My website is rather big as its size is 13.31MB

-HTML is 0.54mb

-CSS is 0.63mb

-Java script is 9.25mb

-Images is 0.72

-Other is 2.16

M2: Legal and Ethical 

-Legally I need to make sure any assets I use are free for profit and aren't copyright this will stop me from getting into legal trouble I can also create my own assets to avoid legal trouble

- I also need to make sure that on my website I don't share any false information against the artist as this will make me liable and I can get sued for this 

- Due to the introduction of the equality act law in 2010, I will be forced to make my website accessible to everyone, so people with disabilities or lower income will be able to use certain features on my website similarly to how people without these circumstances can. If I do not do this it could damage my brand.

-examples are using the correct typography to help people with difficulty reading I also need to add alt text this will help the blind as it describes what's on the page

Magazine

-Similar to my music video I will upload the final product to the portfolio and will explain everything.

-I will explain the magazine in a video and upload it for employers to see and review. 

- I will use JPEGS to upload the magazine as they will be easier to load and still be clear.

- For my magazine I need to make sure that I make all my own assets and none are sourced from an online source and are completely original.

I have chosen to use compression to make the image smaller by making the image a jpeg instead of a png this reduces the file size making it easier to transfer and send to other emails and can be put onto linkdIn and doesn't take up much space so it saves space on my portfolio because of this it allows me to have extra space on the portfolio meaning I can add more things to my portfolio to make it more advance
